ACI Consultants Advance to Senior Appraiser Statuses
ACI Aviation Consulting's Managing Director Bob Cowgill has earned Senior Appraiser status through the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) in addition to becoming an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers. Bob has been with ACI since 2003, where he conducts appraisals on commercial, corporate and other aviation assets. An ISTAT Certified Appraiser since 2010, Bob completed an additional, comprehensive examination for advancement. Candidates for the Senior Appraiser designation are required to have been employed in an aviation-related business for seven years, six of which must be spent performing aircraft appraisals.
ACI Aviation Consulting's Aircraft Appraiser, Wes Romaine, has also earned designation as an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) through the American Society of Appraisers. Wes first joined ACI in 2007 where he completes a majority of corporate and commercial appraisals and conducts research to support appraisals and the publication of the Airliner Price Guide. Additionally, Wes represents ACI at industry conferences and handles a variety of duties in business development.
The American Society of Appraisers’ Accredited Senior Appraiser designation requires Candidates to submit an appraisal report which must be approved by a Board of Examiners. Additionally, Candidates must have five or more years of full-time appraisal experience to earn ASA accreditation.
