Bob Cowgill brings over 30 years of experience in a variety of operational, academic and valuation settings to his work with ACI.  Beginning his aviation career as a flight instructor and air-taxi pilot, he has served as the Director of Aviation Technology for a community college in Fairbanks, Alaska and as an FAA Designated Flight Examiner.  Since joining ACI in 2003, he has performed numerous aircraft, helicopter, and simulator appraisal and inspection assignments and is active in the production of the Airliner Price Guide. He holds a Master’s degree from Purdue University, Airline Transport Pilot certificate with several type ratings, Remote Pilot certificate, Flight and Ground Instructors certificates and an Aircraft Mechanics certification with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.  Bob has earned the Senior Appraiser designation from the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers.
